Support During Labour

From the first surges to the first cry, your doula stays — a continuous, familiar presence holding the space so you can labour your way, wherever birth unfolds.

What continuous support means

Labour wards change shifts; your doula does not. We join you in early labour at home — timing, breathing, resting between surges — and stay with you through transfer, birth and the golden first hours. Counter-pressure for your back, a cool cloth, whispered reminders of your strength, advocacy when decisions arise: the thousand small things that change how birth feels.

Your partner is never sidelined. We quietly coach them into the heart of the experience — this remains your family's birth, with us as its guardians.

Common questions

Will the hospital allow a doula?

Yes — in London hospitals doulas attend as your chosen birth supporter alongside your partner, in birth centres and on labour wards alike.

Do you replace the midwife?

Never. Midwives hold clinical safety; we hold you. The two roles complement each other beautifully.

What if labour is very long?

We pace ourselves with rest and nourishment, and our collective provides backup cover so you are never left — even across days.

Never labour alone unless you choose to.
